Leave it to Myles to take a severly hijacked thread and show the wisdom of the "late 30's" crowd.

When I started lifting in the 70's, there were so many juiced up guys it wasn't even funny.  Well, I made a decision:  F#ck'em.  I train hard, I live clean (well, except for the Talisker, occasional cigar, and coffee) and when I compete I don't worry about what the other guy does.  That's his problem.

When I started training, I trained at a gym in Tampa.  It was the gym of choice for all the rasslers.  I trained with Kevin Sullivan and Purple Haze.  There was a lot of sauce in that sport and in lifting.  In my years I have seen the sauce move from the inner circle of lifters to casual lifters and bar hoes.  Softball players and anyone uses it.  The gym lifter, goofs that come in and bench and curl use it so they look good in the bar on Friday night.  It is insulting and offensive to a serious lifter and trainer.  Longevity, perserverence, hard training, toughness all overcome these idiots.

It draws undue attention when you cry at work.  I had to walk out on the shop floor for a minute.  The video was worth it though.  Thank you.
