Hi Wally, I have applied for the Master's Class.  Karyn knows me pretty well from the MWC and her trips over here to Europe.  Hope you can find room....  I also know that Martin Shiller from Vienna, Austria has applied from an open class.  He is one of the top throwers in Austria and competes often in Germany.

Thanks and best regards,

Anthony Lordi, Geneva, Switzerland

It will be really nice to make the cut. I've been to the Enumclaw games in the past as a spectator, and would be honored to be allowed to compete. as it stands I am in the game, and selfish as it sounds I hope it doesn't fill up, that way I can stay.
I'm just an idiot, pretending to be smart.

Anthony, Comment allez-vous mon ami???  so glad you and Martin signed up, that is awesome  would be nice to have some athletes from across the pond at the Claw... Wally puts on a most excellent games, as I had told you.. just remember no Hammer boots & be prepared for any type of weather, sun, heat, rain, extreme rain.  I think everyone should experience the "Claw" at least once in their throwing career.
PS. Wally collects coins.. so bring some cool ones from overseas for him
& for Martin & you Prost!!! Viel gluck

Hey Wally, you may want to clarify the lists of names above for applications and acceptance to actual throw in those divisions.. I think some athletes might assume they are selected if their name is listed above.. thanks Karyn

That's true, Karyn.  That's why for the Elite classes l had specified "Application" lists.  l should have done the same with the Pre-Elite classes and now l have!  The final cut-off will be at 11:59 pm June 20th and the lists will be set in stone then!

btw...on the application list....for me, I am from Carouge (Geneva), Switzerland....but I guess Czech Republic sounds even more exotic!

Anthony, l have been meaning to email you and clarify that.  You listed your address as "Garouge, GE, CHE."  l assumed that CHE stood for the Czech Republic!  You know what they say about assuming!!

Hi Wally, technically, CHE is correct....as the formal, official name for Switzerland is the "Confederation Helvetique", or C.HE.....maybe the post office still uses that,....but for international competitions, usually you see SUI (Suisse, the French version of Switzerland)....such a complicated place to live!  The country also is called "Schweiz" (in German)..."Svizzera" (Italian) and "Svizra" (Romantch)...those are the four official languages of Switzerland.  Even the money has all four languages printed on it... lol

Look out if he learns how to toss the sheaf!

Actually, it lS great!  Also, inexpensive for us.  The Claw uses the system for all of the applications, entry forms, Camping, ticket sales, and a bunch of other uses.  You're right, every Games should use it!!
