After 2 practices since May , throwing the Austin games killed me and I kinda sucked.

Let's see...
No oly lifts
No practice
No intensity= soresoresore and sucksucksuck

Decided to fix that last week . got a new goal thank gawd and Arnold

Been jumping rope and doing agility drills and using 135 x 3-10 reps on a bar to re-learn Oly lifts.
deads to overhead press to hang cleans to full cleans to muscle snchs to hang snchs to full snchs to full split snchs to whip snchs

feel better.

I'm sorry ...I keep scrolling up a couple posts...

11.10 bball x 2 , 80lb kb 5 x 5 w hop , 80db push press 5 x 5 in sand , 50 leg raises , 55lb plate plate twist x 50 , guns , etc

11.13 10 x 3 yoyo high pulls and a few racks - dip below knees and reverse to chin 30-45 secs b/n
200jropes
8 sec fast 12 sec slow on airdyne 5 mins puff puff - I have found if I wrap my knees w ace and do the bike ride - knees don't hurt  - very cool.

ostone x 12- trying to find something that won't finish off knees - a shuffle / glide that actually feels like a glide should .

11.14  58
First time out on the grass for a good toss.
agilities x ouch
jrope 200 better
ladies hammer x 15-16 fun - really wanted boots to pull on by the end
shf x 10 was shockingly good. I was possessed.
28   5 x 5 line spin drills - not bad -pretty darn straight -  on last 3 let it go 30-40 feet
    5 or 6 double spins
15os x 10 - glide sure is consistent - it takes alot of effort and doing it right to add a foot
45kb wob x 10 standing in sand - this sucks - I want a skinny handle and a couple links and grass waaaagh

Definitely not superhuman even my aura is sore. As a matter of fact if I lift i get sore, if I do not lift I am sore, so, might as well have a reason to hurt.

7.09
Took 6 months off to heal body and mind and lost 40lbs.
been doing normal slow gym lifting till it all stopped squealing and complaining.
Starting back slow w dynamic lifting - in an effort to live to 100 , I will use tossing and snatches for power . If I start back squatting , my knees will not last to 100...or even 57 or so.
Weight is hovering around 240 so I am actually gonna have to learn to throw and not just be a big moose.
Normal paleo kinda diet - much more greens than meats
Longevity plan.

60db 4 x 6 swing snatches
2 x 50lb db ppress fast 3 x 10
60db ppress rt arm only 2 x 10
7.10
28 spin drills 10 x 3 spins - was good by the end
42 wob x 5
200jropes

We're off.

I love the weight loss for the sake of health and longevity, and It won't be long before I embark on a similar path.  I think that's just smart all around and a realization that all bigger athletes must come to.  Although I don't know why you'd want to live to 100...sheesh.
