Catching up:
  • my hip injury seems to be resolved and was initially triggered by overstress from conditioning
  • I've re-scaled my conditioning and mobility accordingly
  • did an extra week of rehab in the weight room
  • then a week of deload / reload in the weight room

Then last week was re-baselining:
  • Push Press fell flat at 185, strict press probably close to 135
  • Bench Press settled at 225
  • Squats at 295, almost back to pre-loss level
  • Dead Lifts moving back in correct direction to 375
  • Almost back to a 1-2-3-4 plate baseline
BW steady at about 192, and that's just going to be my new reality. Off-season training is going to be about acceleration.

Back in the weight-room today.

Merry Lift Mass and a Happy Throw Year!

Back on it after extensive travel, miles of hiking helping Duncan in his all-terrain wheelchair (basically prowlers in sand for miles), lots of conditioning and GPP stuff.

Beginning of the year status:
  • BW=190 and trying not to lose any more.
  • New caber and outdoor caber stands constructed.  I need to re-weigh it once it stops raining every day. 
  • Stones are cleaned and re-marked.
  • Trig and field are a mess just because of non-stop rain and moles.
  • Height apparatus are good.  Sheaf towers are re-stabilized and the portable WOB bar is as solid as ever.
  • If anything I can get on some hammer and WOB sooner rather than later.
  • First game of the season should be near the end of February.
