For those of you who dont follow Utah Heavy Athletics on Facebook;
Jeff Loosle passed away recently of a heart attack.
While Jeff had been retired from Games competition for a few years, he was the godfather of Highland Games in Utah. He was involved with the WSSA until it split and he created the Sons of Scotland throwing group. He traveled and competed across the country.
Jeff will be greatly missed here in Utah.

Sorry to hear that about Jeff. I met him at Ptown and had some interesting conversations. Quite an athlete. R.I.P.
