I deleted the old pics, so here are some new ones.  Everything you see, except the old weight plates was bought at Orchard Supply hardware.  The plates were used, off of Craigslist. The main support that runs through the middle of the plates is a galvanized plumbing riser, I think it's an 8-incher.  The weight plates are  one 10'er, some 5's and one 2.5.  The eye bolt....well, the nut is fixed to the eye bolt with some epoxy.  You can't see it, it's inside the reducer fitting.

I had access to a drill press, but all I used that for was to drill the 3/4 inch tubing that is the "grip" part of the handle, so that I could get the ends of the U-bolt through it.  There's some epoxy locking the nuts down, on the U-bolt, too.

Reminds me of the first hvwfd me and the MWR had...he stored it in his 4 wheeling jeep and when it was stolen off the mean streets of the south Bronx- both of us weren't worried about the vehicle but our throwing weight and our empty keg( used for strongman wfh) ..would we get them back??? Well 12 days later they found a shell- they ran it by the vin#... we were bummed to find our toys not in the shell! Oh well. Broke down and split a doying 56.. Made a 48.. And bought a 28... Ohhh the days of those clanging weights when it landed
JUST BRING IT /
