I thought it was the 14th. Either way: this Saturday I am volunteering for Le Tour de Mont Pleasant and the next 2 Saturdays I am a fitness boot camp instructor.

My next competititon will be up in your neck of the woods. Why else would I be throwing a 27lb rock? I am training a little over the actual Braemar weight, I know. From there I am looking at a Ren Fest, Sparta, and Muskegon. Those aren't concrete yet. I don't think that I'm going back to Indy this year.

5km run today. I've been slacking on the cardio.

Friday:

Snatch: 165 3x1

Flat DB Press: 120x5, 130 2x5

Deadlift: 345 2x2

L. Hammer: 16 throws 82-85'. Put my second blade back on because my left foot was coming forward 2-4" each rotation.

Just volunteered for the inaugural Linden Mills HG that you saw posted recently. I have never had two competitions back to back weekends. Not sure how to structure lifting/throwing for optimal performance.

Saturday: June 28th, Gaylord Highland Games

Highlights are my new PR's in sheaf and L. Hammer. I went from 17' last year to 20' this year with the 20lb bag, and I got very close to 22'. My light hammer PR jumped 3' to 88'0. Almost to the nineties.

Training hard to improve, Saline's in less than 2 weeks away. Hoping that there are enough lightweights for a class.

Monday:

Squat: 405x2, 425x2, 425x1. I struggled a lot with that second set with 425. It felt like 10 seconds to get to the top or close to it.

Jerk: 155 2x1, 175x1, 195x1

Tire Pulls: threw all of my stones in the tire. I didn't count how many times I went up and down my driveway, but the session lasted about 20 minutes and I never took more than a 1 minute break.
