First day training with with Kelly. Long trip to South Carolina, but we're
gonna have a blast.

Did some stretches and found out that I'm totally not flexible...nothing
new there. heh

First day with a new program. Some good stuff.

Overhead squat: warm up 65lbs x3
75lbsx3
80lbs3
85lbsx3

Back squat: warm up with 135lbs
145lbsx2
155x2
165x2
175lbs 3x2

Partial Squat: A little different from what I'm used to doing for partial
squats. This was more for the hip drive working on the squat lock out.

175lbs 3x12

Caber Hurricane: My new friend...it was the coolest...I need caber work
anyway!
20lbs plus whatever the implement weighed x4
30lbs x4
40lbs x4
60lbs x4

Hammer Curls:
25lbs x 10 (5 each hand)
30lbs x 10
35lbs x 10
40lbs x 10
145lbs x 10

Jesus loves me this I know, for the bible tells me so, if he hollers let him go, and Bingo was his name-o.

Emily, I saw you throw at Kirksville and was very impressed with you (and your family in general).  My wife was too.  It was her first games and only my 2nd.  I picked up some HWFD form cues from watching you and tried to mimic your sheaf technique as closely as possible and ended up clearing 16 feet.  Which isn't anything special, but I totally bombed at 12 feet at the Ledaig Games in July so it was a big deal to me.

The Caber Hurricane is a machine invented by the Sorins. It is just a movement to mimic the pull when throwing caber.

Ben that is totally flattering!! Thank you so much! I really do enjoy HWFD and sheaf. I'm happy I could be of some help to you. Keep up the throwing! You'll meet amazing people and have some awesome times. Let me or anyone in my family know if you need help with anything. We're more than happy to give what advice we have.  Congrats on the PR too!!  That's awesome!

I lift and throw heavy things... I throw rocks and roll a frying pan here and there.  I sometimes run.  I lift like I want to throw far.
