That video was to funny . Ugly chick sticks her head in the way. Then you have a person doing quarter leg presses. And there is like 30 people in a very small area. They better hope you dont go Danaimal and kill everyone in there. hahahaha!

On another note, nice work by the both of you.

10-7-11

1st week of transformation is over.  Kate and I weighed in today.

Dan:  last week - 340.6   today - 332.0

Kate: last week - 194.0   today - 187.8

This first week is probably the most we'll lose in a week because of the bloat from our before pictures, but overall we made solid progress.  I can't tell if I have lost any strength or not, in a few weeks we'll go back to bench with bands and then I'll have a solid PR to compare against.

After the second week we'll take pictures to see if we have made visible progress.

Monday was our upper body day

Dan 495 + 65 chains  x  1 missed , a little bit too ambitious.

Kate 145 + 65 chains x 1

JM Press

Front Raises

Barbell Curl  - light for me, rehabing bicep

Triceps Pressdown

Seated Row

We'll be deadlifting today, but probably going to take it easy since we haven't deadlifted in a while.  If I can get 500 x 3 I'll be happy.  Deadlift has never been my strongsuit.

10-7-11

2st week of transformation is over.  Kate and I weighed in today.

Dan:  last week - 332.0   today - 330.6

Kate: last week - 187.8   today - 188.8

The weight loss slowed this week.  Kate actually put on a pound, but overall she is still looking much better than when we started.  She is getting pretty frustrated, but the main thing is to be consistent.  Also, the most important thing is are you stronger/do you look less fat/ not necessary the weight on the scale.

Monday was our upper body day

Dan 500 + 45 chains  x  1.  Pretty happy all things considered.

Kate 155 + 45 chains x 1.  Good lift for her.

Last Tuesday

Dan deadlift 500 x 3, felt ok but mostly getting back into the deadlift swing.

Kate deadlift only up to 245 she was really sore and tired from our Friday workout.

Today we are going to box squat, I'll probably try 600 x 3 and see how it goes.  Usually 600 is easy, but as I have lost weight I've noticed my core is less stable and I have had a bit of a problem with my left quad, so we will see.  Kate should work up to 320 x 3 for a PR if she is up for it.

After seeing my progress so far I'm pretty excited to lose more fat, so I'm fired up.  I'm gonna drop my calories to 1800 with 280 grams of protein for the next 2 weeks and then bring it back up to 2700 or so.  I want to see how small I can get and hopefully I'll look like Tyler Durden when I'm done.

Here are our progress photos after 2 weeks.

re: Kate's weight.. it can be relative to where she is at in her menstrual cycle, as well as sodium/water in take. I weighed 281 last tuesday when I weighed in. I had ramen noodes thursday afternoon and despite my calories being spot on, I still weighed in at 288 friday morning. Tell her not to worry, but if she wants a better weigh in, watch sodium intake for the 2 days before the weigh in.

IMO, weight isn't as big of a deal as appearance and performance. If performance is steady or increasing, and appearance seems to be getting better, I could care less if I've gained 5lbs.

BTW, great job on the loss, both of you. I think it's noticeable in both.

Dan rules.

Props to both of you for having the stones to do this and put up the photos.
