Cruise the database and look at the results of some games and then figure out if you are a AM B or C class.  I am assuming that you are younger than 40.

Depends on the size of the games.  Most games in NE have pretty much  a ladies, Ams, Masters and sometimes a lightweight.  The Maine Highland Games is large enough that there are multiple AM classes.

Games this coming Sunday in Scotland, CT.  There MIGHT also be 1 more in Plaistow, NH.

once again, it depends on the association. the SAAA costs 25 for a non member, 15 for a member. on field entries cost 5 dollars more

Scotland, CT is open games - pay at the gate (I think $10), sign a waiver and
you're in.

Just be sure to get there by 8:30 or so.

Finally, you don't want to do just games w/ classes.  You're not going to learn anything from other C's.  Open comps are great opportunities to throw w/ ppl much better than you, & most folk are generous w/ tips & tricks.

well, that depends on where you are in the class. If your at the bottom of a class, there is potentially alot to learn from the others in that class

i saw someone almost drop a caber on some super old woman at Costa Mesa, CA games before. me and a friend were standing a few feet behind her. we ran for it, and she dived to the ground right beside the table she was sitting at. saved her life
