Anyone know of some HG sponsors that are in the upper midwest or are national companies that would sponsor a new HG? I'm having trouble finding companies that are interested.

Our organization usually hits local businesses; those that understand bartering better than larger corporations. Cash money usually is tough to get, but contacting restaurants (lunch donated for athletes), friend's businesses and the like are usually the best shots.

I start with a phone call and follow up with a letter. We also give the business a T-shirt (sponsors are listed on the back) and a framed photo of the throwers if they'd like.

I'd be happy to share my sponsor letter with you, just let me know.
