Iam in my second season and having great gains in all but 28#. I dont feel any explosion just momentum. It's not that way with my 56. Could I be spinning to fast and letting my momentum carry me? I feel like I release before I can explode my hips and shoulders....

You have to wait for the 56 to come around. 

How is your speed vs body position on your first turn?  Without seeing video, I would say slow your first turn and make sure that's right before sprinting to the trig with your second.  My .02
