im from charleston,wv i want to get into the games real bad but i need some help if anyone can give me info,tips,or anything else to help or any info in my area  thanks  jim

Jim,

Go online to see if there are any groups in your area. If you see games listed contact the Athletic Director or Organizer in your area. They should be able to assist. Do you know any athletes in your area? If you are still having trouble I will try to assist you.

ironhead, not sure how much help it will be, but head to the M.A.S.A. site and touch base there.

Bridgeport, WV will be hosting the 2008 World Highland Games Heavy Events Championship May 3rd

http://www.scots-westvirginia.org/heavy.htm

And there is a games in McHenry, MD, June 7th, which is not too far from Bridgeport.  These should be the closest games to you.
