Hello, my name is Jeremy Gillingham. I’m new to these games, and just competed at the Columbus Festival in Columbus Indiana this past weekend. I had a blast. The atmosphere is much more relaxed and helpful even though everybody is being very completive. Which happens to be the complete opposite of my experience with competing in college t/f. I’m looking forward to competing more in the future, maybe this time with a  little training, haha.

Jeremy it was great throwing with you.  I look forward to throwing with you again in the future.  Anytime you and Pete want to come to Indy to get some practice in let me know.

Jeremy, training, what training do you need?  LOL  You had a great day congrats and welcome to the "B"s

Hey Jeff,

We may have to take you up on that. There are a couple of guys a work with, and train with that would love the help too, they couldn't make it this weekend due to family issues.

"I'm a newbie from Indiana and I'm going to go out my first time throwing in the C-Class and beat the A-Class winner."

Lol, the only reason I kept up was because of the stone throw and the hammer throw. Which I knew going in was going to be my bread and butter, I'm sure Pete saw it coming too.  The rest of numbers weren't that great. I was excited to flip the caber on the first try, even if it only weighed 54lbs, haha. And you saw how the HWD was throwing me instead of the other way around.
