Was doing Power Snatch two nights ago. Noticed that I lost feeling in two of my fingers when I was done with the sets. No straps, light sets of 55% max for triples. Two days later, still very little feeling………..Never had anything like this happen before. |

I’dunno- no discoloration, no pain. I probably just knocked out a nerve in my hand- just curious if anyone else had/ has- this happen with the lift. I’ll give it a few days, if it isn’t better by next Snatch day…..I suppose I’ll go see a Dr……..maybe……..

Last year when I really started doing alot of Oly type lifts (hook grip) I stayed numb in my left thumb, off-and-on for about 3 months. It didn't stay "completely" numb, just after lifting, then would sort of tingle for a day or two 'till I numbed it again in the next session. I have the same problem. I think about seeing a doctor but from my experiences I don't expect them to know anything, so I don't go. I do a lot of grip training as well as oly lifts. I figure it's swelling inside the hands and wrists from stressing them almost daily. |
