A quick thumbnail sketch of of the results at the North American.  Zolkiewicz wins the 2-day, 9 event championship and also wins all 3 of the Championship events, Sheaf, Open 56H and Caber, taking home the lion's share of the prize money!!!

1 - Zolkiewicz, 2 - Overfelt, 3 - Doherty, 4 - MacKay,
5 - Thiessen, 6 - Hobson, 7 - Parman, 8 - Valenti,
9 - Hamelin, 10 - Pullon, 11 - Robinson, 12 - L. Barron

Zolk was on fire!  Tired of being KO's bridesmaid for the last two years at Portland, he took an 8 point lead on Saturday and never looked back. 

The weather was less than ideal on Sunday with the rain turning a damp arena into a mud pit.  The Sheaf weighed 23+ pounds by the end of the day.

Here are a few photos, I'll post more once I get them all uploaded.

Whats scary is that if Mike kept that left hand against his left thigh and pushed with it, he would pull even higher!!!

He might of had it there and is just past that phase of the pull.

The pics are from the 56H that was thrown standing to comply with the rules from here and from Canada!  The 56 was also thrown "Open Style" as a championship event.

The Meat Man won them both.

Calves?!  Sheesh I was wondering how one gets arms made out of tree trunks...and now you point out his calves are bigger than my thigh!
