I cleaned out my bag and had 11 throwing shoes in there. Anybody beat that? I don't want to admitt the glove count, but it was very high.

I am sure there is a joke about having a third foot. My guess is somebody stole one looking for puddin'.

It's not even the 11 that throws me, why on earth would you need 5+ pairs of shoes in a throwing bag?

I don't even OWN that many shoes. I have:
1. Tennis Shoes (yes, I still call them that)
2. Cowboy Boots (Tony Lama)
3. Dress Shoes (for work, black)
4. Waders (for the farm)
5. Hammer Boots

A set of cleats that I started in, a set that I like to throw in, a set of old javelin boots, a set of new javelin boots, hammer boots and one Tannel? The Javelin boots have never been worn. Plus you have to have dark shoes and light shoes for before and after Labor day. I am down to 6 now. Was over 30 in the gloves. Is that a lot?

oh, i didnt realize that you were throwing javelin also.
and yes, fashionable is necessary.
30 gloves is not alot, for 15 throwers.

Ya'll be nice now - the Mule was a Boy Scout and likes to be prepared......obviously bizarrely, psychotically over prepared but prepared none the less. I just dug into my bag gettin ready for Saline - last thrown in the garage after the Texas Swamp games of last month - combine w. humidity and heat and ....well......my dogs kept trying to roll on it.

No, no the hammer handle didn't break. The hammer was broken, as in, it wouldn't go far.

Hey Terry, did you get that ice bag back? I'll be happy to send you one. Thanks for taking care of me, btw. I'll be ready to go in two weeks for GMHG.
And Craig, I take it the dog is ok?

Hey save me the spikes. Spikes are like birthday candles. Plus, with the extra gloves, you could make some of those cool rollerball gloves like James Caan wore. Then the crowd would start repeating SILVERBACK, SILVERBACK, SILVERBACK

The hammer was broken, I could not tell if it was the handle or the head. I was upset with it, we had a very poor relationship and on the way back home I had to stop for gas. I had just thrown the hammer and I felt I did my part and it did not. So I kicked him to the curb. In the dumpster he went with a cussing. When I came to the next morning, I realized I might need that. I went back and they had emptied the dumpster.
Next I borrowed K Monsters. I figured it would be tested and good. I went out for a toss and apparently offended the impliment. On the way home while the gate in the truck was down it found a way out and was never seen again.
I have only purchased three of them at this point. I am sure most people have bought many more and this is well below average.

I don't have 11 shoes but I do get to 11 with my eight hammers (two 22#s, one 20#, two 16#s, one 14#, one 12#, and one 9#) and three 28#s.

Ok, I did have a 22lb hammer sneak out the back of my truck one time, I wondered why it ran away. At first, I thought someone stole him, but now I realize he was unhappy.
I have 10 hammers, plus 5 home made ones. I now realize that the problem is not me, but all my hammers are broken and that is why I keep getting more, hoping that I find one that is not broken. Is that so wrong!

It was only 11 shoes in the bag. I have a bunch more in the closet.
Has anyone ever tried throwing in a golf shoe? I got a new pair and they look pretty swanky.

Hit 16 standing WOB and no one should have the right to say anything about your shoes.
This also maybe the first post ever with the word "swanky"

Swanky - an old term used by late, late, late, later 30's guys to mean totally rad, fly, awesome, bitchin, killer or sweeeeet..........I'll go out on a limb here and say that I would pay money to watch the Alabama Plowmule play golf - swanky shoes or not.....poor little ball.

Yes I play golf. And I do have a pretty sweet long ball. I once hit another student in my golf class 13 times in one class. Pretty darn good chipping there. I play once every year or so to keep my game sharp. Thank you Terry, on my way to Grand daddy mountain for a shot at more than the 16 we hope. I am pretty healthy right now. Spooky.
I think you find I am only a follower, the international male vaulted into swankyville long ago. But the black and white Nike golf shoes do have a look that might go well with some hose. I am sure Craig has a Kilt that would go with them.
