Looking to train in the North Dallas area.  I'm new to the Highland games but after the TX Scottish Festival I realize training can't be done on my own until I get the tech. down and so forth.

Any takers just holla

Careful, Texas is ripe with wild throwing animals.  As they get near the late late late 30's they become even more dangerous.  Example, MMMMMikus Babbbbbus Maximus Tex.   Texas Dinasaur.  Known to terrorize Festivals and BBQs.

I've seen that monster in action.  Thats why I'm looking for the help, so he won't eat me.

Zane,

How far north? I'm just south of Denton and would welcome a lifting partner.  I currently have a membership at Bally's (which I use off and on)...

I am also in the north Dallas/well Denton area. (Justin to be Specific) Any people wanting to throw, and or lift, I am also looking. Victor and I have had a sort of practice this past Sunday in lake dallas. It went well, But it would definitley benefit us both to have someone with a bit more experience. Although I will speak for myself rather than both of us.

When do you guys plan on competing again.  Oct. is the next local I found.  I wish there was something closer.  Lets all get together and practice sometimes.

Oct locally, and Nov in Austin if I can swing it.  I figure that gives me a few months to be able do something with this throwing-thing
