This is me in my eighth season.  It still happens no matter how long you do it.  I post it as encouragement, and hopefully a laugh, rather than discouragement.

Is that a camera man that didn't move?  I would have run...sheesh.

So lesson is...no sitting down for a rest after throw...ok, got it.

looked good until the part where you fell down...I have seen a lot worse.

I don't have it on tape but my first comp (I had touched the implements for the first time the week before) I did okay in the 56 somehow managing to get it out to 19' on a single spin...so I got a big head and thought I could do a double with the 28 and I spun hard and I spun fast and the weight threw me further than I threw the weight...I shot out the side of the trig at a dead sprint with my upper body parallel to the ground.  I was fortunate enough to stay upright but after I "ran it out" and turned back to the trig laughing...the judge calmly said "foul, you need to exit the trig under control".

Thanks for the video.  I had my first competition about a month ago and was humbled to say the least.  A buddy of mine took a video of the 56# taking me for a waltz and I would have sworn it was being played in slow motion...but alas it was not.
