The overall rankings have been fixed so that it will not time out and you can select between any individual class or select All Amateurs, All Masters, etc.

Enjoy.

The All Masters rankings are based on the heavy hammer.  Was that on purpose?  There's still a bunch of duplicates, where a given person shows up with 2 rankings, in some cases because of spelling differences but not always.

Also, some of the results from MWC aren't showing up in the Masters rankings, but I think that's because of the way the MWC results for those classes were entered.

The overall ranking has been fixed but I've vanished from the ranking system. I think this is discrimination b/c I'm Canadian......

I fixed it so the Canadians are back on the list.

For the Masters, the spelling of the names must be correct or there is no way to tell who is who.  Also, since the ages are involved, the athletes bithdates must be entered and the same for each instance of the athlete.  As for the heavy hammer, if the light hammer is preferred I can change it, just let me know.

I see your point.  The problem arises during the entering of the results, where the wrong instance of the athlete is selected (or re-entering).  As it stands, there are no longer two Mike Baabs, but there are 2 Don Stewarts.  I think we can all agree that the more Baabs the merrier, but one Stewart is enough!

There's also quite a few instances of misspellings or of reversing the first and last names.  I can fix this stuff by hand when I do my number-crunching, but it's tedious and sure would be easier if people entered the results consistently.

Here in New England, at Masters competitioins where we throw the light hammer we also tend to throw the heavy hammer, so I personally don't have a strong preference.  However, there appear to be quite a few athletes who only throw the light hammer in a competition season, so it might be more representative of the population to base the Masters rankings on that.

FWIW, women in the southeast rarely, if ever, throw the heavy hammer.
