I started as director of counseling at a medical school last fall after 15 years in community counseling.  As I looked at my work schedule I was like, "We get how much time off?".  Also, home at 5:00 every day, and I get three extra half hours for lunch each week 'cause I'm in their fitness program (extra time to work out, they just want a copy of my workout logs as the fitness center director knows how I train).  The best part of all, they care about the quality of service and not how much we can "bill" for it.  Academic life, it's the greatest.  Having a job you are happy in it frickin' priceless, my training has been great as a result.

That's it! I'm quiting my job. Gonna do Personal Training fulltime and train for Games and Strongman.

This way I might not get bitch-slapped again by HBIII in Penn.

No,  you will.  I am a cripple and all that, but HB isn't giving up his grasp on the Celtic anytime soon.

Steve P will MC once again and there will be a banner of a guy throwing a stone hanging from the bridge.  I have heard that this guy is the best looking Highland Games thrower of all time.  Thats just what I've heard.....

You are talking about the CC right?

the greatest thing i did was to put a gym in my garage[we dont call it a garage any more, it's a gym] i'm open 24/7, christmas day OPEN, thanksgiving day OPEN, HB3STICKS, your going to take your game to the next [probably final level] by having your own gym.

every now and then i get a little cabin fever, but a few minutes of terrorizing the neighbors pets [i kid, i kid] levels me back out.

I would kill for a delay! I teach in Upstate NY and we have 5 snow days to use this year and we have not gotten more than 2 inches at a time! We are not getting those days tacked onto a vacation so I might need to work 3 extra days this year!!! 188 days of work! How am I going to make it through? Thank god  February break is only 6 school days away

After 4 days of salting and sweeping I cleared enough room in a nearby parking lot to due truck pulls.

It's nice to have practice in only 30 min. If you breath in anymore cold air at that point the EMT's won't be able to thaw you enough to due CPR.

-15 to -20 (without windchill) here all week in the early morning.  Made my 12 yr. old walk to school.  It'll make him tough.  I like Zolk's idea about truck pulls.  Planned toi wait til summer but he can start pushing the family car now.

I bet he just can't wait until I can get back in the gym and off his case!
