Can anyone describe this exercise to me 'cause I gots no idea

It's a fairly basic one-legged squat. Squatting leg in front, shin vertical, other leg behind you on the floor. If you've ever seen ski jumping, that goofy-looking landing position is called a Telemark landing. A Telemark squat should look like that. It's probably not a good idea to call it a "Telemark squat" unless you're talking to a skier - everyone else will look at you like you're crazy.
