I know this subject has been covered in the past but I have not found a recent conversation yet on this topic.

A friend and I are getting started and we are looking for recommendations on making/buying equipment.

I have seen lots of talk of Bobby Dodd out in WA but I can't find where to even talk to him about this. Is he still in business? Any other ideas or other people to consider when looking?

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated

Thank you all

It would be helpful to know what part of the country you're in.  Lot of good makers of equipment, but shipping costs can be expensive.

I'm in Auburn. I run some early season practice sessions usually. Join the new england highland games page on Facebook. Next time I host one, it will be posted on there.
