I think I already know the answer to this, but here it goes. You have two throwers, in the caber toss. Thrower 1 gets a 12 O'clock on the first throw, but the next two are 11:30. Thrower 2 gets a 10 O'clock on the first throw, but the next two are 12 O'clock. The guy with two 12's wins even though the other guy got one on the first try, right?

He with the most 12:00 throws wins.  If thrower 1 and thrower 2 were to both have a 12:00 then you look at the next best.
