Today I decided to toy around with the 42lb weight during WOB practice. Am I wasting my time? Has anyone else used it to help their 56 WOB?

Biggest thin this is related to is learning the spinning WOB. Will learning the spin with the 42 really help my 56 spin? or will it not really transfer?

My personal numbers:
56 Stand: 14'
56 Side Stand: 11'
56 Spin: 12' hit the bar at 13'
42 Stand: 15' - never have tried any higher
42 side stand: 14'
42 spin: 16'
-only have 1 real practice with the 42 for WOB to get these numbers.
-and note: it will be 13 years before I use the 42

Thanks guys.

Yes.

I started doing that after Stephen King (yeah, that one) suggested it to me like a dozen years back.

Timing's almost exactly the same, but it's tons easier on your system. As long as you're working technique and not just pulling harder because it's lighter, you'll get good results from it.
