Is anyone here a member of a St. Andrews Society?  I just found out my name has come up for membership this year and I'm wondering if it'll be of any use to my starting to compete in the games.

It has been put forth that if your local Society runs a game, then any involvement in the Society helps your AD, perhaps indirectly, with the power structure of the Society and how much they care for the athletics area of the games.
