hey folks, about that time of year, 5 or so weeks out. usually the first game for most in the NorthEast, like to open this up to questions and get some sort of roster going. 9 events same as last year, $20 to compete, i'll have plenty of t shirts on hand, probably some trophies for each class, unfortunately no lunch included this year....but my friend Melanie (also her 4th year judging) will be bringing some bacon cupcakes from the bakery she recently opened. 9am start, Lincoln Park, Beautiful Sunny Albany, NY Anticipating even more judges/helpers this year, organic growth at its finest. This is also some of these judges 4th year through, so I'm into that. I've got a house I just finished rehabbing, Matt Hand is playing innkeeper there so if you've got an air mattress, you've got a free spot for the weekend. Just reach out to him. Havent had enough time to raise the funds for the PRO class this year, so it'll be just like all the previous years. AMS Kahanic Kaste Hand Meulenberg Beech Remeika Sideleau JVG (maybe) Emborski Gonzalez Perez Mendoza Longo McKenny Lee Berby Vogel Olsen LADIES Benjamin Toniatti James Boyd McGuire EXPERIENCED THE Dave Barron Hapy Mayer Scott DePanfilis Gerard Benderoth Tim Mullally John Katalinas William Donnell Patrick Toland Mike Landrich Chuck Livingston Ken Gustavson Curtis Lake Andrew Gillie Ian Grassie Andrew St John LITEWEIGHT Lewandowski MacLean Fletcher Houghton Thats just the folks confirmed so far. Probably a few more. Will have to break AMS and EXPERIENCED into two flights. I think the best way to do that is by referencing the rank of the 2013 database, splitting it in half and there you are. Only going to allow a total of 20 AMS and EXPERIENCED, 10 LADIES total, that'll be 100% based on how many times you've competed in ALB before. I dont know if anyone else has an experience with how that works out with the overall history and culture of a games, but I think it would create some good community around this games since its geographically the only spot where the NewEngland group can get together with the Western NY clan and get down. ------------- jammin on the one. |

Hey Jasen, I actually won't be competing this year. I have this little thing called pregnancy going on, so no throwing for me. I'm not sure if Carlton plans on competing, but I will keep you posted. Amy |

Wish I could man! Ive got mothers day (weekend) stuff to do, daughters dance show to go to on saturday, grooming of my beard, and overall sharpening of my already rapier like wit. Sorry, Jasen, but this morning I had an accident in the kitchen and cut my hand pretty good down to the bone, I got stitched up, and the doc said I should not compete this weekend, unfortunately I have to pull out. I feel bad pulling out. |
