I compare it to the guy who wants long hair, and then grows a mullet. It's just not the same. Now granted, I don't really like every single thing I drink being stuck in my mustache, but that's just part of the deal when growing an unruly winter beard. It eventually gets long enough that you can brush it to the side and twist handlebar or imperial style if needed. And that, is a top shelf look. Example: (To be honest, I can live with the mustache trim in normal times, but during the true growth season (ie: November - March) it should be left untouched.) Don't you worry about my picture....trust that my beard is growing.
