are May 12th this year, Irish 9a start. I've had lots of folks reach out already, so I thought this was in order. $20 again, gotta pay for the porta rental somehow. All athletes also get a lunch ticket for some sweet bbq goodness from 2 bears. All 9 events, plus extras based on time. Every class, All masters, liteweights <200 (please dont turn this thread into a 200vs190 debate). I've got a bunch of newb females for Ali T to break in. Sheaf standards can now accommodate Wadell, plus they're at the maximum legal width. We had a blast kicking off the season last year, hoping to do the same this year, just with more folks. There's talk of a man with large biceps and flowing locks making an appearance. Pretty sure HAN is going to be on site. I'll update the Roster as the names start rolling in. All athletics, all awesome. Pumped to see all your faces again!  ------------- jammin on the one. |

well.....I was thinking about moving to a different park, thats kind of in a bowl. But in May...I feel like it would be kinda swampy.....so back to the giant, super level field in the ghetto. Plus that field has those old post hole things, remember how easy it is to set up sheaf standards? I'm thinking we'll probably have 40+ athletes this year.......fourth trig? also.....I got another of your college throwing buddies coming, Don Gephardt? ------------- jammin on the one. |

John can't help it that his hands are 2" thick and his fingers are short. If he could only hook grip a d-ring HG handle.......... Jasen I'll put in for the time off of work and do this. these Awesome Guys will also be there doing what they do, they've got some great sups, plus they have a habit of bringing a legion of quality athletes with them wherever they go. Joe also does a great job of making sure there's a plethora of pics and goodness for everyone to share after the event.  ------------- jammin on the one. |

I grew up in Pgh and my sister in law lives a few miles from the venue. They even have a family membership at that Y. gotcha! I just took a loose roll tonite of folks that have posted here or text'd, pm'd. fb'd or whatever. No registrations beforehand. Too much paper to deal with. nice! you've been leveled up from a maybe to yes. Duncan, I've got over 10 now, a few with crooks, a few heavy and dense, some long ass light ones, pretty much everything. I wouldn't say any are perfect......actually farm from, but plenty to test every style of athlete. MetalGear = Challenge ------------- jammin on the one. |

If anybody is going and is interested in a set of Captains of Crush 1.5 grippers let me know. I accidently ordered them instead of the .5's and was lazy until it was too late to return them. They cost $19.99 + shipping. Would like to get my $ - the shipping back if possible. All yours, still in the package even. I will be glad to see someone get use out of them. I think I could do the .5 now and work towards the 1, but the 1.5 isn't realistic for a bit. I'm gonna try this method out since we have loads of athletes and I'm admittedly horrible at bookkeeping. show up that morning (or dinner the night before at the Victory) with $20 (American Currency only), I'll have a waiver to sign, you get a t shirt and a ticket thats good for bbq lunch with all the fixins'. Since everyone loved the t's so much, I ordered extras so sizes shouldnt be a problem, should also have enough for all the helpers plus a few to sell (would like to at least break even year 2). I enjoy punctuation (parentheses).  ------------- jammin on the one. |
