yep i've been interested in Broz for awhile now and have finally tried to start moving my training in that direction. in the next 6-12 months I hope to be up to training 5-6 days/week. alot of it is mental and if you can push through that your body will eventually adapt. he claims there is no such thing as overtraining. we'll see

I knew you'd like this.
I'll never be the guy that tells you I train too much or too hard, but his stance is pretty far the other direction. Plus, I just cant keep that kind of schedule at some parts of the year due to work.
I'm just going to assume you're younger than me.....and you'll have better results with it than I would due to that.

I happen to work from home and my gym is in the garage so I have a pretty ideal setup. Even with a new baby I have been able to manage by training early in the morning.
I'm 30 so that doesn't help but I'm not looking at it as a limiting factor either. I'm just trying to eat well and get as much sleep as possible.
Besides getting stronger for throwing, I also plan on competing in a weightlifting meet at some point.

do it. I make a point to compete in everything I can for 1 simple reason...I cant replicate the amount of intensity at an event in the gym.
for instance. did a strongman last weekend and loaded a 275 stone at the end of a medley. up to that point my heaviest was 255 fresh. thats winning. now in my head...every time i approach a 275 stone, i'm gonna load it.
John Broz is sending me a shirt. I'm hoping it helps me get under the bar faster.
