The registration forms to all athletes that attended in 2010 were mailed on 4/20.  The forms will be available on our website on May 1st at http://www.kcscottishgames.org - www.kcscottishgames.org  for anyone that did not receive one in the mail.

Women - we will need head counts ASAP so we will know whether we will need to split any classes.  We are offering A and B on Saturday and Masters 40+ on Sunday.

Masters - Again we are offering split classes on Sunday, 40-49, 50-59 and 60+.

Men's A and C are on Saturday along with <190#.  Men's C is on Sunday.

We are not hosting Pros this year.

Thanks and hope to see many of you soon,

Lori

I'm hoping my knee holds up for it. I'm doing a PL meet 2 weeks after so my goal is just to walk away after getting injured last year. You may catch a beating from others but not from me, I shall challenge for last place.

I'm hoping A. McGhee doesn't learn how to get his left foot down on WFD.  I mean, it's ok if he does...I like red ribbons too.

Depending on when I am coming back from vacation I may travel out for this one.

Duncan, you are too kind!  I was hoping you might be doing well enough to grace us with your presence this year!  Missed you when you were injured.

Very Sorry!   I see I made a typo at the top of this.

Men's B is on Sunday.  Men's A and C are on Saturday.

Sorry for any confusion.  Please visit the Game's website for the latest info though.

Grace y'all with my presence?  I think you must have me confused with someone else!

Jobe - Remember to throw far...if not, those other cats will remind you!

Looking forward to it!

Duncan, I always smile everytime I see your name remembering the year you got stuck on the tarmack and called us at 6am and actually made it for the end of the first event!  Will never forget that!

Actually Dave, Kevin will tell you that Mac has always been his favorite game.  That was the first place he ever threw in 1996 and probably will be his last when someday he quits.  He has only missed Mac when he was injured and I am looking forward to September already!

See you very soon,

Lori

You know what the best part of that story is?  I hear other people telling it...and it keeps getting better...

"Duncan McCallum flew from the Azores to Seattle, where his plane crashed.  With only his wits and ropes made from the hair on his back, he lashed two sea turtles, a chupacabra, and a puffin together and rode them to Dallas.  He then drove from Dallas to Tulsa, where he and Wayne Kearns ran from Tulsa to the WFH event with no shirts, no shoes, and Duncan had to borrow a right arm from someone in the crowd."

The takeaways:

1.  Kevin and Lori Henderson have the patience of Job.  I think Wayne and I called them 15 times from the Riverside parking lot because we were so lost.

2.  Jason Statham has NOTHING on Wayne Kearns.  Best wheelman ever...put him in a stock Dodge Avenger and no median or embankment can stop him...suspension be damned!

3.  A little known fact...one can (in some cases) pass WOB heights via text message.

KC is a great game.  It really is premier, and if you can make it, you should.

+1 on THAT!

KC was my first USA games, but MAC was my 2nd and is always near my birthday.  Also, I just love Braum's Ice Cream Store there.

Hey Kids,

Littleone here,

Sorry that I have been off the grid for a while.......long while.

Due to some life challenges, I wont be throwing at KC and probably the rest of the season. Hate it!! Sorry!!

I am wishing all of you the best of throws this season!
