Still alive and with three kids now. I am living in CT again and once I can get my job and housing situation settled I might get back out on the field...no promises though.

I watched the Adrienne Blewitt clips. I knew someone had done this before.

Looking at the left foot turning as part of the initial movement forward with the South African technique is an important point. Nice clip.

I was a dyed-in-the-wool glider back in the day, wanted to be just like Timmerman (especially the smurf-blue tights). But I eventually realized it's a lot easier to get your hips around and into the throw with the full spin or south african.

I never thought about the left foot though. I guess that's why you're the doctor.

Yeah, but you've got every thing else figured out and that's why you are such a great thrower. But again, that left foot move did jump out at me.

Dave you were the Div.III Timmerman. No clue, what's so special about the left foot in that video. Just a step in drill, no.
