I think that if we empty the kegs first, that our distancs with the
Keg toss will increase exponentially!

I think that making them empty  would be a comp in itself, and then we could have the drunken relay

Ya since a full half barrell weighs about 160.5lbs our tosses may be limited.  I was an (empty) keg toss champion in college.  Thats my only real track and field experience.  Its kind of a good trining tool.  They weigh 29.7lbs empty.  I used to work for a brewery.  Thats how I know all this crap.

The last I heard, his shoulder was fine.  His biggest problem throwing WOB at Pipes in the Valley was boredom.  Just wait til he has to wait for the sheaf *and* WOB.

I think he went in at 14', got it by 3' (like something out of a cartoon), then went for 17'7".

I belive it was the snorts of whiskey between throws
that was limiting him. Oh wait what am i saying, that
helps you!!!! I would love to see Steve soked up on
his home turf and set a WR. Get after it Steve!!!!!

Dan Wood et. al. The shoulder is fine there are no health problems. Wayne is close to it. I am going in at the elimination height for most, at Pipes it was 14', then I am taking 6 tosses at the record. The problem at Pipes was that the rig was on a hill, I was throwing at 17'8", but from my stance it was closer to 17'10". Also the weight was a squaty round thing with a straight handle (not my favorite) My rythym has been off a bit, but I think under the right situation I can get it at Altamont. I know it must look strange to check the results and see that I won with a 14 or 15 footer. I don't want to sound cocky (and I am sure I will be ripped for this) but, I hope to win with one throw and take 6 attempts at the record.  Let the abuse beging...and yes "I will be taking my extra throws!"

I dont think it sounds cocky, I think it would be worth the pride of most of us (being beet with 1 throw) to see you hit another w.r. good luck.

Steve, hells ya I think its cocky!!  But I damn sure know its the truth!!!!  I would love to see you throw for a WR.  Save your energy against us and give it a hell of a pull the next 6 times.  Ive got faith in you.  And if you need motivation I can make cracks about your lineage and body hair.

So Drew:  how's the knee doing?  Are you in a cast, walking, rehabbing, or what?  Inquiring minds want to know.

Now Wayne I am not a supporter of that sheaf thingy but as a result of it not being contested as much as it used to in New England-I think it will be aquick sheaf comp sunday at Altamont...looking forwrd to this weekend-on saturday to be on the field with such greats as Baile, hamelin,Borque,Bogue,Zolk and hopefully raising my game to hanging and banging with my bud Dr Bill but also to kick back sunday watch the amtrs wholeheartedly and help coach Terri(like she needs my help) and then of course the BEER TENT on sunday(thank god no work monday)

I think you could coach with a beer in your hand, but would Terri take you seriously?

Steve, it's not cocky if it's coming from someone that has a very good shot at that height... won't be around much Sunday but I've heard allot about you and would like to get a chance to meet you - if I don't best of luck at that record.
