Hey Craig, I decided to give the Z lift a shot.  WOW!  It was quite Awkward.  I really want to sit forward at the bottom part of the lift, like when squatting heavy....that really does not work.  It really is a new motion for me, kinda like benching for the first time (That was ugly).  I need to find that groove to push from....any tips??

I think the lift could be great for me, I am nowhere near your level of Zerchers!!

So for my first time, I did warm up sets to get the feel and did 3 sets of 4 (no momentum) at 345.  I then went to deads for reps of 4 after...really quick workout (35 minutes, got my heart rate up!)

Any tips would be great....and using a belt here really makes a difference at the low point of the lift.

Thanks Craig!

You guys ever do Zercher walks? It's kind of like doing the Conan's Wheel in Strongman.  It will wind you and fry your posterior chain.

Treat it more like a front squat / deadlift if you have that habit of a bent PL squat.  Do some where you start from the top, walk it out, and make that core work to keep you str8.  If you lean with it, you're done.
