ok, Perfect pick, Popped it up high, Perfect carry, Posted at the perfect time, Pulled like a mad man. Release, turn beyond 90 degrees. YES! YES! YES!... NO! caber hit a tree limb balanced for about 2 seconds then fell back toward me saying, "Nice try sucka"

Yes this happened to me today after checking the ground for holes and trip hazards.
I guess I should have looked up.
I thought you all could use a lough.

Wish I had a video!

At least you dodged the caber's return trip!

I had the same issue about a week ago practicing sheaf near a paulownia tree.  Got covered in twigs and dry hulls.
Aim high. Stay hungry.

I didnt give up. When I got home I tried again (in a new location) I have never been able to turn this caber and today was the first time in 2013 Ive touched it. Now I can say I turned it 12:30 woo hoo I felt so good I went to the trig and increased my braemar stone pr by a foot.

That sucks! All I could picture was the tree acting like Dikembe Mutombo. "Not in my house!" while wagging the branch like a big index finger.
