I think the following article, and the one it links to, lays things out pretty nicely.  The bottom line is what and how much you should eat, especially in terms of carbohydrate levels, depends on your goals and the nature and extent of your daily activities.

We do not stop playing because we grow old. We grow old because we stop playing.

I follow the swedish diet GI Zero, just add more carbs if you want to put weight on or remove if you want to lower bw, simple eat as much fat and protein as you want .

Love me some choc milk, mix it myself each night, Hersheys is Cadillac.  I told my wife one of the worst sounds I ever hear is that nasty out of sauce blow out when the bottle is empty and you cash the last serving.  Thank goodness for that double pack at the grocery store.

Protein bomb...Smile

Sandwich experiment win. Tuna salad, then add more sliced egg (protein), add shredded carrot (nice crunchy, beta carotene), add red beans (magnesium, potassium, phosphorous, protein) and blu cheese (tang)...put on Orrowheat whole wheat with mixed spring greens (more vitamins and minerals and tiny protein)...Yummy. I like.

Forgot my protein powder shake today, three packets of sugar into a container of organic skim milk.  Woo hoo for milk.  LOL.
