...I HATE SQUATS...well to be truthfull, I HATE the hours leading up to a squat workout.  My brain goes all wonky and starts to think about all that pain, all that effort, all those doubts that show up around rep 8 or 9.  My brain goes into a mental beat down loop that only seems to happen when it comes to squats.  Give me a deadlift day and I have no problem...but squats?  Sigh...the squat workout battle starts easily 4-5 hours before the workout.

The flip side of that is the triumph of having beat the squats.  Why is it that I don't recall this feeling the day of a squat workout?  The feeling that not only did I make my workout, but I crushed my workout. I NAILED 3 sets of 11 with 5lbs more that last three workouts.  The first two sets I got without a pause!!!  The last set, set four, was 10 reps at 20lbs more than my previous workouts.  I got all those and a BONUS rep!  I nailed, with decent form, although with a mighty grimace lots of sweat purple face and maybe a few dying in place noises, I knocked out 11 reps.

Today I walk as if I am a survivior.  That walk of constant DOMS and limited flexibility, but I beat the squats last night and I am happy.  Why do I still hate squat days....?

I have very few social interaction skills, so I just throw stuff instead.

deadlifts > ohp > pullups > rows > squats > tricep extensions > curls > bench

lol, i'd say squats are the middle of the run for me

this is purely an enjoyment comparison though, haha
