Yup.  I just make sure no one sees me do them.  If I were me watching me run hills, I'd laugh until I couldn't stand.

Same goes for bikes though.

I am quick for about 5 yards....after that I look like a fat kid chasing a
Ho-Ho uphill    It's funny but not pretty at all!!

As I begin to heal my achilles injury I will go back to doing sprints but
I've found that towing the sprint sled really helps me. It allows me to
continue to apply force to the ground and drive but not get out of
control

Don't have a sled, so will do hill sprints. Easy on the
knees and self regulating. Either you can go up the hill
fast or you can't :-)

In about 99' I officially named Kent Durso the 'Neoprine
Avenger' at KC and it stuck. I see someone else might be
the next in line...

Hill sprints are good but if you have problems with the Achilles ,
plantar fascia, and at some degree knee problems you have to make
sure the incline on the hill is low because a steep hill can give you
some problems. The steeper hills also change the running gait and
turn the run into a high knee run and that is not what we do in the
games. With using the sprint sled I can
control the amount of force and resistance for my athletes I keep
the running technique similar to the actual technique that the athlete
runs with. I do use the hill for some power development doing some
short multi-directional sprints and long jumps. We also do bear crawls
up and down hill both forward and backwards and sprint down and
stop for the development of eccentric strength.

So yeah hills are good and sleds are good it's all just tools in your tool
box
