I know it's all about the brisket in TX(and I do like), but
I hear you can walk out back and get the pig too.

I'm sitting for the BBQ,

Standing at the bar,

and spinning when I'm done drinking.

Old Dude I would have if I could have but I don't think it was allowed.But I don't really recall for sure. I like the direction this thread has taken to the important stuff like BBQ and beer and local shine.Now tell me where I can find a good stooge and I am all good.         & nbsp;         & nbsp;         & nbsp;

You f**ked up - you trusted us! Hey, make the best of it!

Sorry Craig your words not mine, it's all in fun. AD
makes a fair point,
However I remember there was allot of whining about the
trigs in Inverness
by the US guys and they changed the trigs.

Unless I was AD at a completely different event ....There
was NO whining in Inverness... just a few adults having a
chat before I made the call

Our normal Scottish Athletics Association markings really
piss off some of OUR Heavies and it was a 2 second job to
change the trigs to something everybody enjoyed.

We actually went down the trail of saying "what do you
need" to Bill Scruggs right from the start (we wanted to
be good hosts) and when we were told we had marked a
couple of boxes wrong based on the notes we had been
given - we changed them. No drama - no problem

The only things we won't accommodate at Inverness are the
Sheaf (which is a freaking farmyard party trick) and the
Spin (which is a completely different event) or the work
of the Devil as I like to call it.

I think that there should be two Weight over the Bars
anyway. The Spin and the Standing but that is just me
trying to please the crowd.

With regard to the general philosophy of enjoying these
Championships by trying the odd local rule ... I support
the idea... I would hate to see any of the Masters
throwing in Inverness being sober... it just would not be
the same

This is all just sounding better and better.  Can we have a Masters Field Trip to Sorinex to gawk at all the toys?

Ok a couple things.

First, the Sheaf is NOT some farm yard party trick!! It
takes skill and strength and is hands down a crowd
favorite!

Second,I want a freaking T shirt with the bolded part on
it :-)
