Should a guy get them in mids or lows. On one hand there is better ankle support but on the other hand it would be easier to torque through your ankle with the lows. I would think that would be good in the stone. Any opinions? |

I've heard some interesting things about the hammer shoes... immobile ones, and ones that keep you planted but still allows you to push your hips through the finish, mush like the olympic hammer finish. what would be the easiest to do, make some or find some.

I have used tanel for about 2 years now, I do like them but I have just switched to a pair of reebok javelin shoes. I like the straps to keep the shoe snug on the foot and the ability to change out the spikes depending on the ground conditions (short ones for regular conditions and long ones for muddy conditions). as far as the hammer boots i just make the hole for my left blade (right handed thrower) a little looser than my right one.

Tim I have Mids now, and to tell you the truth (at lest on my foot) they are a little low of any "true" support. This Fall or Winter I'm going to order my new pair and they will be Lows. |

All models of Tanels have the same basic pattern, Turf, Cleat, or Steel. (I don't think that there sandals have the pattern though). The sole design is still under patent, thus the reason you don't see the same idea from every other shoe manufacturer.
