Did you get past 35' in WFD? Missed throwing with you hoss. Back wouldn't even let me drive in a car. |

You were missed Robin. My second throw in Hwfd was my best and it
and my third throw were fouls. Same in lwfd. Got my openers in which were safety's. Eric won the day. John Allen did well as did Ken and Dwayne. I had a rather mediocre throwing day with good friends (Big Daddy is so funny). Jason and Kim put on a great show and the judging was great. Duncan was a hoot on Saturday. Seasons now over time to Rehab and train. Will be praying for that back of yours. |

Yeah Matt broke every field record except for the WOB. Some were 10 year old records. Set by the ones who are pros now. I got my butt handed to me on every event except the WOB. No excuses I was beat by Duncan he was better and more prepared. Duncan Matt, huge huge day for you my friend. You threw like a man on a mission. |

People:
Please allow me to extend a huge thanks to all the athletes, helpers, scorekeepers, announcers & judges who made this years games possible. Without them, this years games would not have been the success they were. My "A" group were such good sports that they proudly wore the azalea pink shirts that Kimberley suggested they receive. Much fun was had related to this... and I'll remember to bring a #20 sheaf bag just for Matt next time LOL. My "B" group was a sampling from the mere beginner to those on the cusp of moving to the A's. You all gave everything your hearts could give and I very much appreciate that. My Masters group was just a thrill to watch. Never before have I seen such a close battle in this group. And let me say thank you to Eric Wechter for catching my mistake at the end of the day. Kudos! My Womens group was amazing. Super diverse competition and a half-point win to the hometown(ish) girl Amanda Micka. Grats! My scorekeepers/field helpers were fantastic. Always at the ready and never missed a beat. John, Valerie & Keira McClain (Keira passed out water to everyone), Grant Rosborough, Lisa Gourlay, Kim Davis and Mick Howe & Son. I thank you for the two days of "running around like a chicken with its head cut off". Field announcing was exemplary as always with Bob Malcomson behind the mic. We had the addition of Rachel Watkins this year who put a female flavor to the goings on. Great sense of humor from both these folks and their addition is greatly appreciated. I am always in awe of my judges and this year was no exception. Larry Satchwell, Drew Savage, Drum Murray & Bob Gourlay were super cool, uber professional and held the field together without incident. My hat comes off to you all. Thank You. Last but not least, my unending gratitude goes out to my co-director Kimberley Baldwin. A hard worker, uncomplaining and always personable. The weekend always seems so much easier to get through when shes involved. With a team like this, a game would be very hard-pressed to fail. I am very proud to have such people willing to do so much for so little. I love you all and eagerly look forward to next year. |

Jayson always puts on a good game. Big throws from Matt. That 51'3'' throw with that 18.6lb stone is awesome.
The N/S is going to be something to watch.
