I have the summer off and I was just planning out my routine for it. I am wanting to add more plo's to my rountine. I have have started to make some plyo boxs. What I was wondering about is should plyo be done before you lift or after. I have had times in my life when coaches have told me both. So, I thought I would put it out for everyones opinon. Assuming your throwing short Max Effort sessions and lifting short Max Effort explosive sessions at this time of year (in-season).Incorporating plyos at this point may be a bit much. Very demanding to incorporate all three and remain at your peak power output. Throwing if your not aware is the highest intensity form of plyos you can do. I'm pulling hvy and fast, squat/squat jumping hvy and fast and sprinting short and fast. |

Got on a scale after 3 games of basketball (whew) and saw 269....woohoo -32lbs down ! I've noticed that the less I weigh , the more I can train and less I ache(did that above workout w.out Motrin - this is awesome!). Recommended. I'm in shape again!

Sometimes in the quest for size and power we forget that we are athletes first. When you shed some of the blubber and get that athletic feeling back you can surprise yourself.
