Not really a question, more asking to confirm or correct something I learned from reading the post while watching a few of Craigs vids.  I notice when I cast and the weight starts to go back towards the trig I wind up automaticaly pulling my right foot back (Right handed) to stabalize myself.  This is of course more pronounced with the "medium" weight (Hey, I'm old and small, I get to throw the 42).  After reading/watching my guess is it's because I don't pivot on my feet at all.  The foot then needs to come back to keep me from falling back.  From this position, with feet flat and facing forward, right foot 6" to a foot behind the left, I'm basicaly screwed before I even start to spin.  What I need to learn to do is pivot at the point where I am pulling that foot back.  Am I on the right track here?

Oh and you want to do something cool, open up a browser with the basics post then watch some videos in another browser window.  I like Craigs becauseI have similar taste in music, but I'm sure others would work as well.

So does this make sense?  Am I moving in the right direction here?

Are you talking about when you let the weight swing behind you, before the first cast? If so, try bending your knees instead and dropping your hips a bit, just as it starts swinging forward.

FYI, I'm not sure using Craig as your model is the best idea. He can do things that us normal, non-500lb-zerchering mortals cannot.

pshhhhhhh whatev.  If i can do it, anyone can.

Dave is right about bending your knees and dropping your hips, it will allow to be stable through the cast.  As the cast comes forward, the left foot begins to rotate, and when the weight gets in the right spot (for me about 2 o'clock), it's time to replace feet.
