Clinic Update for next weekend's NTCA Conference
& USATF Men's Throw's Summit
Dear NTCA Member:

Schedule information on the NTCA Annual
Conference and Clinic November 12-14, 2004 at the
Columbus Northwest Marriott hotel in Dublin, Ohio.

The clinic will begin on Friday evening with packet
pick up from 5:00 -6:00 PM. Our first session with
"keynote" speaker Mike Boyle (Functional Training
For Athletic Performance) will begin at 6:00 PM.
Following our sessions on Friday evening we will
have a welcome reception from 8:30 -10:00 PM.
Saturday's schedule is from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM and
Sunday's
schedule is from 9:00 AM - Noon.

Jeff Gorski (USATF Men’s Javelin Chair); Tom
Pukstys (Former AR – Javelin); Carrie Lane (Univ. of
VA); Mohamad Saatara (Northern AZ Univ.); Larry
Judge (Univ. of FL); Don Babbitt (Univ. of GA); Mike
Young (USATF Shot-put
Biomechanist); Lynn Cannon (USATF High
Performance); Duncan Atwood (Former World Class
Javelin Thrower); Jen Davidson (USATF Sports
Science Technical Coordinator); Matt Ellis (NTCA
New England Region Chair); Bob MacKay
(Moorpark Community College); Mark Mirabelli (NJ
HS); Mark Harsha (IN HS); Dr James Peterson
(Exercise Physiology Expert); Mark Rodriquez (IN
State Univ.); John Frazier (Univ. of AZ). The clinic will
include lectures, “learn by doing” sessions, and
practical application seminars. A USA Track and
Field High Performance Film Analysis Center will
also be set up. The NTCA Clinic will be a “hands on”
learning experience for all attendees. A complete

NTCA SHIRTS AVAILABLE FOR SALE AT THE
CONFERENCE FOR $20 (see below information)

Additional Information:
Friday Night Welcome Reception - Free snacks and
draft beer (Bud Light) for attendees and a cash bar
will also be set up by the hotel for mixed drinks and
bottle beers.

Raffles - Throughout the conference various raffle
prizes will be awarded. Last year we gave out 20
different prizes ranging in value from $10 - $500. You
will receive one free raffle ticket at registration packet
pick up. If you purchase a NTCA
t-shirt at the conference for $20 you will be given 10
additional raffle tickets along with your shirt.
Some of the proceeds from the t-shirt/raffle ticket
sales go directly to the John O'Connor Memorial
Scholarship Fund - a fund set up to provide college
scholarship money to children of NTCA Members.
