I have never thrown anything in my life I went out and bought a 22-pound stone and went to the park today with my tape measure my best throw was 22 feet I know that needs a lot of improvement but is that even respectable for the very first time ever throwin

I did about the same. I bought a 20 pound stone and only managed to throw it 23 feet. I am also interested to know if this was decent for being a brand new thrower.
