I have what I think is a good problem.
Yesterday, while throwing HWD, I felt like I was really generating a lot of force entering my sprint phase. However, all that force caused me to lose the weight early, throwing it off to the right with a very low ark. I hook grip, and I wondered if there were any other tips anyone could give other than do more farmers walks and heavy deadlifts. Thanks, Jeremy.

Yeah, I was experimenting with the right amount yesterday. It's a balancing act, especially since i'm not getting that good drive on all my throws.

Sometimes a cause of that is pulling on the weight before it hits the low point and not working it with its orbit.

Losing the weight is much more a result of your timing being off, as opposed to grip strength. There isn't much grip strength needed at all to throw big weights. |

Thanks. I'll work on timing. That's probably the issue, as I'm trying to apply force sooner, but that may be a bad idea.
