Trying not to sound like a cynical ass but what is this mace swinging all about? Anyone tried this? Looks a bit funny*

Ryan Pitts, who puts on the blog and strongergrip.com, is a thrower here in the Quad Cities area. He makes and sells many cool implements you should check them out.

I bought some CoC grippers a few months ago and am getting an itch for the whole grip thing. Built a hub and seriously considering an axle bar. Ryan has some cool products, my congrats to him for breaking out on his own. Looks like he has setup a decent business.

I still do not understand the whole mace swinging thing though.

CoC are great for building grip strength. For a 2" bar I just took a 2" pipe and filled it with cement.  I've had it on my shoulders with 700lbs and it didn't crack or bend.  I've had to find cheap ways to make a bunch of stuff.  You should see my "Squat Rack" made from 4x4s and threaded rod!
