I"m very sorry to hear your dad passed away, Kel.

I had quite a conversation with him at the Pleasanton last year as your family was sitting right behind me.  He told me he taught you everything you know.  He was having a great time watching you compete.

Be strong.

Thank you all on behalf of my family, we are all doing very well, and some of
you know my father was a healthy vibrant guy up until 2003 when he had an
Aortic Aneurism(49 days in ICU), he was doing ok for a couple years after,
then things started chipping away at him and he fought hard and valiant for
close to 8 years but his body just couldn't take the beatings any longer. He
made it very easy on us, with every procedure a little of him left us. He was
still clear of mind and quick witted. My father always did the right thing at
the right time. He was a good man I miss him and I hope I will be half the
man he was.

Kel, that is such a loving tribute to your father.  I imagine he has been very proud of you, and would be proud of you developing that fancy new fork.  Hang in there. You and your family are in my prayers.  Beth
