Nice piece once again, Mule.

I thought you might like that, Dave.
You're not old, by any means; just one of the most accomplished throwers we've seen. It's a compliment ... trust me. |

Great interview. Dan's tremendous faith reallly has influenced my own. He is very geniune in who he is. As a Christian, its great to see that. There is a ton of bad examples. As a thrower, Dan has made tremendous gains as well. When he turned pro, Dan was already at a high level, in the stones, standing WOB, and obviously the caber. He works very hard to improve his weaker events. He is now a very high level hammer thrower, and is also very good at the weights for distance. He hasn't always been good at those events. He is also one of the best at the sheaf. Being strong helps, but he has put a ton of practice in. |

Myles, thanks again for another top notch interview.
Dan is not only an outstanding athlete.. but he is truly an outstanding individual. He is one of the nicest people you will ever meet on or off the field and for all his skill and accomplishments he is very humble about it all. Dave don't worry , you are not old and besides.. you were called a Legend!!!! does not get better than that - Karyn |
