Had to do a back to back training sesh. I was feeling it from yesterday so I didnt expect much Warm Up Hang Snatch 95x5, 95x5, 95x4, 115x3, 135x2, 145x4, 165x4, 175x4 not bad RDLs (1 sec eccentric) 135x5, 185x5, 225x5, 225x3, 275x3, 315x3, 335x3, 365x3, 385x3 PR? Maybe? The form wasn't great but I wanted to push myself for this block. Incline Bench (1 sec eccentric) 135x5, 135x5, 135x5, 185x4, 205x3, 225x3, 245x3, 265x3, 275x1 was supposed to be 3 but with no spotter I didnt want to risk it. Lame. Bench Press (3 sec eccentric, 60" rest periods) 135x8, 135x5, 185x5, *begin tempo/rest 225x5, 235x5, 245x5, 255x5, 265x5 *got 4, did the final one after a 15 sec break) BRUTAL Wide Grip Pull Ups (3 sec eccentric) max reps 5, 5, 4 I is weak Narrow Grip Bent over BB Rows / Single Arm DB Flys / Banded Pull A Parts (all res 2 sec eccentric) 15x8, 135x6, 185x8, 205x8, 225x8 / 3x8each @ 15# / 3x15 Didnt have time for core as my son was with me and he demanded a bottle and challenged me to a duel.

They're just landmine sweeps or "Bigfoot tree shakes" haha but yeah I think there is a good carry over! They are exhausting though.

Lat/Teres Minor feels great, a bit sore, but overall good. I'll be sure to be careful and keep blow flow going in. Got out to THROW!! Ground was mostly melted out but the ground under the grass was frozen solid except in select spots. So I did wat I could. Pud Warm up. 20# Puds x20 reps HWFD 1 turns x5 Fulls x5 measured best one @ 40' LWFD x5 best of 79' WOB x5 Couldnt have been a better kick off! Wob felt not great haha but it'll get better.

Leaving for Florida tomorrow afternoon so I am trying to squeeze in as much training as I can. Combined a couple days today Warm Up Hang Clean 135x5, 135x3, 185x3, 185x3, 225x3, 245x3, 245x3, 245x3 kept it lighter Squat (1 sec eccentric) 135x5, 135x5, 225x5, 225x3, 275x3, 315x3, 315x3, 345x3, 385x3 was going to keep it light but I talked to Rob Young and he told me to quit being a Hoser! 4 wasn't happening safely with my final set but I'm thrilled to get 3 reps on that! Florida trip was good, did some BW stuff when I was bored but just to keep blood flowin into the joints/get a pump. My son got sick on the day we left so I havent been sleeping well, but I attempted to get some training in today. He'll be ok, but I called it there for the day. I'll finish it tomorrow.

Got a moment to go out and do some throws. Went poorly lol Pud warm up x20ish throws each side Ostone 16# Fronts x5 best of 39' Stands x8 best of 41' I'm feeling a bit slow/not explosive. Common for me this early on. LWFD x10 best of 75' less than impressive. Still nice to throw!

Warm Up Power Cleans from floor 135x5, 135x3, 185x3, 225x2, 245x1, 255x1, 275x1, 275x1, 275x1 stayed the same as last week. Squat (1 sec down, 3 sec pause, explode up) 135x5, *add 100# chains 135x5, 225x3, 225x3, *Begin tempo 255x4, 265x4, 265x4, 275x4 feeling fairly quick Bench Press (1 sec down, 3 sec pause, explode up) 135x8, 135x5, *add 100# chains 135x5, 155x3, 185x3, *begin tempo 205x4, 205x4, 205x4, 205x4 felt strong.
